Installation with Columbus Dance Theater

    At the beginning of September, I was invited to be a part of a collaborative event, “Dancers Making Dances” thanks to Alex Napoli. I had the opportunity to create an installation piece that accompanied the performance of very talented dancers at Columbus Dance Theater. Alex created the choreography and selected the music as I worked away on cut-outs and painted up the layers up until the date of the installment.

     These are the largest wood pieces I've cut and painted thus far and the first stage installation I've created. With the time frame, I'm really happy to see how it had came together.   

Big shouts out to everyone who helped coordinate such a great weekend you are stars to say the least, all the performances were amazing, and it was a pleasure to meet other artists.
